Key Responsibilities:
- Execute specialized heavy haul transport operations with precision and safety
- Manage route planning including permit requirements and escort coordination
- Conduct thorough equipment inspections and maintenance oversight
- Navigate complex loading/unloading procedures for oversized freight
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for specialized cargo
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal load planning and execution
- Ensure compliance with multi-state regulations and permit requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Verifiable heavy haul experience (minimum 5 years)
- Current Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
- Clean MVR and proven safety record
- Own equipment suitable for heavy haul operations
- Understanding of weight distribution and cargo securement
- Experience with permit procurement and route planning
- Strong business management and communication skills
- Valid insurance coverage meeting fleet requirements
